Necessary of building demolition:

The buildings designed using period for the wood structures are usually 20 to 30 years, for R.C. buildings is usually 40-90 years. But, sometimes building are damaged by earthquake or other disasters, so these buildings need to be demolished immediately. In fact, the building is quite often reconstructed or remodeled during that using period, moreover, due to varieties of reasons such as deterioration of concrete, lower buildings function, and city development, etc., there are a lot of examples that buildings are demolished during their durable period. Therefore, the necessity of demolition not only depends on the material and structure problems but also is based on factors like social, economics living, environmental reasons more and more often.

Methods of demolition :

ii)Machine demolition.
iii)Controlled blasting demolition.
