Difference Nominal Mix & Design Mix of concrete.

i)In Nominal mix design, we are considering the ratio of ingredients like 1:1.5:3. Hear no water-cement ratio, Size of aggregate, strength, durability, workability are considered. Whereas in Design apart from ingredients ratio other factors like w/c ratio, Size of aggregate, Workability, etc are kept in consideration while designing and it is totally designed based on compressive strength.

ii)Nominal mix design may have different in strength, whereas in Mix design it is unlike the above.
