Controlled concrete & High density concrete and Durable concrete

Controlled Concrete :

This is which a preliminary test is performed for designing the mix is called controlled concrete. It is designed for producing the required workability and characteristics strength.

High-density concrete :

In high-density concrete, the density is from 3360 kg per cubic meter to 3840 kg per cubic meter, which is about 50% higher than the unit weight of conventional concrete. It is used in the construction of radiation shields.

Durable concrete :

It is one that performs satisfactorily under anticipated exposure conditions during its service life span. It is its ability to resist weathering action, chemical attack, abrasion etc.in highly polluted urban and industrial areas, aggressive marine environments, etc.
