Informatory Signs of Road

The ‘Informatory Signs’ are rectangular. The signs are provided to guide the road users along routes, inform them of destination and the distance, thus providing them with information to make travel easier, safe and pleasant.

The colors picked up for informatory or guide signs, depending on the classification of the road. For NH_S and SH_S, the informatory signs shall be of a green background with the borders, legends, and word massages in white color. For all other categories of roads such as MDR, ODR, and VR these shall have white back-ground with borders, legends, and word massages in black color.
